Early life of Vlad Tenav
Tenev was born in Bulgaria and brought up transmigration to the U.S.
when he was five. His parents both work for the World Bank. He accompanied
Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Fairfax County,
Virginia. He attained a degree in mathematics from Stanford University, where
he saw Baiju Bhatt. He deliberated for a mathematics PhD at UCLA but dropped
out to work with Bhatt.
In 2010, Bhatt and Tenev began a high-frequency trading company known as Celeris. By January 2011 they uninhibited it to make up Chronos Research, which sold-out low-latency software to other commerce firms and banks.
Pursuing funding globally in May 2018 which accumulated Robinhood's rating to $6 billion, Tenev and Bhatt became billionaires.
GameStop short squeeze
On January 28, 2021, Tenev excused Robinhood's conclusion to prevent
users from purchasing stock or derivative in an assortment of securities,
notably GameStop, during the GameStop short squeeze; the decision had flash
widespread disapproval from users of the app as well as politicians in both
major American affair. On February 18, 2021, Tenev testified before the United
States House Committee on Financial Services to respect Robinhood's role during
the GameStop short squeeze. Tenev came under big criticism from associate of

group after hearing about Alex Kearns death who is a stock trader. As a businessperson,
