Cardano Founder Partnering With American Telecom Service DISH Network


As a part of the ongoing 2021 Cardano Summit, Charles Hoskinson has announced a partnership between a fortune-500 television satellite provider, DISH Network and Cardano.
This partnership aims to introduce the blockchain technology of Cardano to DISH’s telecom services. This partnership will also help boost Cardano’s crypto adoption. It will benefit DISH’s users on phones satellite with 8 million digital identities (D.I.D.).
At the 2021 Cardano Summit, Hoskinson explained that the main idea was to create a network of users where they can move easily & efficiently from one space to another. But now, the underlying infrastructure has remained “ossified.”
Hoskinson said, “We think there’s a lot
of intersection between the use of identity the movement of data capacity
exchange, and other things that can be done and explored.
And it can be done at a scale of millions to tens of millions, and eventually at a global scale. So, this is a super exciting relationship we can’t wait to see how it goes.”
The IOHK founder further added that the partnership is hoped and expected to transform the entire Telecom industry model despite several challenges of implement blockchain into the industry. He also explains that several DISH users might have to face network issues while connecting with Cardano without a centralized corporations’ influence.
With over 19 million customers, DISH is one of the largest Telecom services giving full control to its users to every aspect of their accounts. Listed as a fortune-500 company, the firm is also one of the first public organizations to accept crypto payments.
This announcement is one of the few positive ones to push A.D.A.’s price to higher levels despite the bearish due to recycled Chinese FUD. the only exception that remained green over the week was Cardano while the market was still in the red.
