Dutch football club Az Alkmaar will pay its players in bitcoin and to hold bitcoin on its balance sheet

To be precise, Bitcoin Meester is now officially the Cryptocurrency Partner of AZ. On July 3, the news came out that this central partnership will now be marketing crypto in football. It is now being done simply to be a part of cryptocurrencies which is trending already.
