Goldman Sachs has partnered with Galaxy Digital and started trading bitcoin futures


Galaxy Digital Holdings is a financial services and investment management reformer in the digital asset, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology sectors and it announced that it will serve as Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s liquidity provider for its Bitcoin futures block trades on CME Group Inc. For this reason, as the bank develops its cryptocurrency offering.

This offer is Goldman Sachs for the bank’s bitcoin (BTC, -5.42%) for futures trades. Under increasing demand from institutional clients, in March Goldman Sachs renewed its crypto trading desk after a three-year pause.
Galaxy Digital will deliver liquidity, or act as a market maker, for block trades on CME Group. Galaxy said in an announcement on its website. The totalling of Galaxy as a liquidity supplier follows Goldman Sachs' effective execution of its first cryptocurrency trades. It officially set up its bitcoin desk last week, two months after the US bank announced that it would re-enter the cryptocurrency market.
