Bitcoin whales had almost a chance of 8M bitcoin, which of course, they were not in a rush to sell-off. The number of Bitcoin whales has managed to reach a new all-time high in the last week’s ascension of the price. Recently nearly 2,178 addresses of Bitcoin held about 1,000 BTC. Later, this number was more, and it reached down to 2231. Currently, the price is 1000 BTC that translates to nearly $13million. Based on this finding, it is clear that whales have been controlling more than 3 million Bitcoins. This is just a significant number, which is equivalent to 12% of the current supply.
As per the bitcoin charts that has received the data, it has been found that whales have stated complete control of the Bitcoins, which are more than 7,902,469. It is nearly 45% more of the supply that has been made in total. Even if we have a rough idea of the whale address number, we are still not sure about the individual and entities controlling them. There are so many addresses that can take control of a single entity. The available address can also be held with different parties and with the signature wallet.
According to further research, it seems that nearly 1.1 million BTC were controlled by the original bitcoin miner Satoshi Nakamoto. It seems there is a vast majority of the coin belong to Nakamoto that is still not moved. Besides, there has also been an increase in the holding pattern. The bitcoin supply percentage has not moved for a long time. It has been noted that the supply is still62%, which has no moment from the past one year, and one third is still the same.
