The crypto mom and team resumes her reign as the SEC, her partnership with Crenshaw can dawn towards innovation in DC

Americans to be administrated by the “CryptoMom” Hester Pierce, Securities and exchange commission. Succeeding her second reign in the same alongside Caroline Crenshaw. This Crypto friendly combo sworn on August 6 after being nominated for the second time by President Donald Trump. Pierce grabbed all the attention for her focus and her inclination towards digital innovations.

During her jurisdiction, she highlighted proposal on serious survey and investigation in the SEC’s processing rejection of Bitwise’s Bitcoin ETF application. Peirce expostulate that Bitcoin ETF’s standards were never implemented to the traditional market offering. She also exclaimed for a safe anchorage 3-year period for the digital asset and crypto projects as regulation wasn’t clear.


She earned the title as the “crypto mom” during her rule in 2018 where is primarily concentrated on the innovation in financial service and had been analytical on the SEC’s rigid and unyielding approach to an industry still finding its way. She often calls to attention the benefits of clear regulation which would allow developers, fundraise and investors to access more detailed project information and innovations in these emerging technologies would be lodged in the US. Pierce was always optimistic with her ideas and innovation and she stated that; “she would assure that the regulatory structures are flexible enough to accommodate innovation.”

She also added in her speech; “Remember that innovation typically comes from outside governmental sector and we need to set up a framework so that people can access their time thinking about new ideas and not consuming their time worrying about complying with regulation”


Pierce will hold the SE commissions until June 25, 2025, and Commissioner Crenshaw will end the term on June 5, 2024. During this reigning period, her ideas on innovation and her strong voice on advocating the investors and traders will be preserved.
