China Integrates With Six Global Public Blockchains to Expand Worldwide

As part of China’s grand strategy to become
a global infrastructure provider of Blockchain-based Services, it is soon going
to incorporate with six public chains to provide low-cost blockchain
services.
China will soon expand its Blockchain-based
Service Network (BSN) globally by integrating with major public chains
including the Ethereum, NEO, Tezos, EOS, IRISnet, and Nervos.
BSN is focused to develop a gigantic
network of permissioned and permissionless blockchains along with millions of
DApps entirely managed and interoperated by the BSN.
The BSN will permit the developers to build
decentralized applications (DApps) and run nodes and from its international
data centers from August 10th, 2020. The Developers will also be
given access to the data storage, bandwidth and other essential resources from
these centers for developing the DApps.
The international nodes are deployed in
countries such as Japan, Brazil, Australia, South Singapore, South Africa,
France, and the US as well.
The network will have a collaboration with
the Chinese financial services corporation UnionPay that will be
beneficial for global users to access China’s enterprise chains and economic
data at a low cost.
While commenting on this move, Yifan He,
CEO of Beijing Red Data Technology, one of the support companies behind BSN
said:
“The move is a milestone as BSN is the
first state-backed blockchain infrastructure that is reaching developer
communities outside China by integrating with major public chains.”
What will BSN offer?
BSN will offer three vital services
including the permissioned services, permissionless services, and interchain
services.
Due to the regulations in China,
permissionless services will only be available on the BSN international portal
and international public city nodes. (PCNs). Permissioned services are already
available on the BSN China Portal.
More about BSN
The Blockchain-based Service Network (BSN) is an infrastructure that has been established by the State Information Centre in April 2020 to fulfill China’s plans to lead the global digital economic ecosystem. It provides APIs to the developers of the websites and permits them to utilize BSN resources and functions.
