Moonbirds NFT Project Partners With Hollywood Talent Agency UTA

PROOF, the company behind Moonbirds, a popular collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), has announced a partnership with United Talent Agency (UTA), a leading entertainment platform, to increase the global reach of its brand. The partnership was announced on Twitter on Jan. 6 by Kevin Rose, the founder of PROOF.
According to Rose, the deal will make the Moonbirds brand a major player in the mainstream market rather than just a major player in Web3. "We’ll be focused on partnerships that extend Moonbirds far beyond our existing Web3 audience, transforming Moonbirds into a global brand."
“We’re already working on upcoming partnerships we know you’re going to love and couldn't be more excited to kick off 2023 with a bang,” Rose tweeted.
A California-based company, UTA specializes in film, television, music, books, video games, sports, branding and licensing, fine arts, marketing, broadcast and more. As part of its expansion into Web3, the firm has signed top NFT projects, including CryptoPunks and DeadFellaz. The agency will assist the NFT brand to vet, broker, and execute partnerships.
Moonbirds is an Ethereum-based project that launched in April 2022 and includes 10,000 8-bit owl-themed avatar NFTs. It has generated $619.5 million in secondary sales and is the eleventh most-sold collection on the NFT market. Despite a recent drop in 24-hour sales volume (down 57.86% to $442,747), Moonbirds' trading volume has increased 63.74%.
Following in the footsteps of other NFT companies such as Larva Labs and Yuga Labs, Moonbirds is aiming for Hollywood deals. WME and Boss Beauties, an NFT start-up, also entered into an agreement. The companies have signed with UTA to represent their IP on a variety of media platforms.
