On December 14, a well-known division of Bahrain Telecom Operators STC group announced partnerships with Easy Financial Services, a provider of payment services.


The system has begun to allow users to pay their bills with cryptocurrency. The telecom provider's action, according to a statement, shows that it is intensely focused on promoting Bahrain's fintech sector as a world-class digital enabler.


The CEO of STC Bahrain, Nezar Banabeela, spoke about the collaboration with Eazy Financial Services and said the following: "Rapid digitization across the globe is transforming all aspects of our lives, and payments are the most crucial element. From online shopping and streaming videos to money transfers, almost every digital activity relies on a payment system."


Smart consumers are choosing new, easy-to-use payment solutions that are secure. Cryptocurrencies are expanding and gaining popularity on a global scale. However, STC Bahrain took the initiative and made a strategic move by collaborating with Easy Financial Services. In the direction of expanding payment options with the coming of money.


Additionally, this will contribute to a rise in demand for adaptable and simple crypto payments. Additionally, it shows STC Bahrain's dedication to improving the Kingdom's finance scene. Customers of STC Bahrain can now use "Binance Pay" by using the Binance app to simply scan the QR code from Eazy's POS and paying with their choice cryptocurrency.


Banabeela further asserted that Stc Bahrain's "strong focus on promoting Bahrain's fintech sector as world-class digital enablers" is demonstrated by the telecom operator's decision to accept cryptocurrency payments. Additionally, the CEO stated that his business intends to expand adoption as crypto is the future of payments" and make accepting cryptocurrencies "a seamless process."
