Avalanche to Boost Alibaba Cloud Services in Asia

A division of Alibaba, the world's largest e-commerce corporation, Alibaba Cloud, plans to upgrade its cloud infrastructure technology to support Alibaba Node-as-a-Service.
Alibaba Cloud's partnership with Avalanche will enable users to launch validator nodes on Avalanche's blockchain platform in Asia. For developers anticipating significant peak-hour resource demands. Approximately 2 million transactions are processed daily by Avalanche, which currently hosts over 1,200 validators.
“Alicloud’s infrastructure technology and intelligence tools provide greater access to computing, storage, and distribution resources for anyone to spin up a node on Avalanche, further boosting the decentralization of the network,” Avalanche said in a tweet.
Avalanche developers were offered credit toward Alibaba Cloud's services as part of the integration. Among the 1,000 projects Avalanche powers are Aave, Curve, BENQi, Sushi and Chainlink DeFi ecosystems.
Alibaba Cloud was launched in 2009 and now operates in 28 countries across Asia-Pacific (APAC). It ranks third globally after Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS). It offers a comprehensive range of cloud computing services to clients worldwide, including elastic computing, network virtualization, databases, storage, administration, large-scale computing, security, and applications.
The Avalanche ecosystem has seen a rapid organic growth rate since its launch in September 2020. Using its cutting-edge scaling technology and near-instantaneous transaction finality, corporates and individuals can create unique blockchains as a service.
With this merger, users all over the world will be able to enjoy seamless validation processes that are available on the Avalanche network while taking advantage of the synergy between these two giant firms' technology services.
