Elon Musk plans to release a substitute phone

Elon Musk said he will develop an "alternative phone" if Twitter is banned from Android and iOS mobile operating systems.
The host of The Liz Wheeler Show, Liz Wheeler, tweeted that Musk should build his own smartphone in the event that Apple and Google "boot" Twitter out of their app stores. Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, responded to Wheeler's post. Wheeler continues, "Half the country would happily ditch the biased, snooping iPhone & Android," and Musk makes rockets to Mars, so he should be able to make a "silly little smartphone" with ease.
The CEO of SpaceX tweeted in response to Wheeler's post, expressing his hope that it does not come to that, but, certainly, if there is no other choice, he will develop an alternative phone. This is not the first time Musk has brought up the idea of an "alternative phone," as there have long been speculations regarding a potential mobile device known as a "Tesla Pi Phone." But at this point, there is no official confirmation of these rumours and no reliable source to support them.
"If Apple & Google boot Twitter from their app stores, @elonmusk should produce his own smartphone. Half the country would happily ditch the biased, snooping iPhone & Android. The man builds rockets to Mars, a silly little smartphone should be easy, right?" wrote Wheeler.
"I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone," wrote Musk.
