First ever metaverse?space Black Station launched by Puma is an interactive metaverse environment. It displays the newest NFT sneaker collection. 


PUMA Black Station is intended to be an immersive and interactive space where customers can experience the brand's future. Black Station will develop into a dynamic location to visit, linking customers with numerous web3 activations emerging over the course of the following year and beyond, as a blank and constantly changing 3D canvas. These NFT collections are part of the German athletic brand's "Futrograde" collection and can be exchanged for real sneakers.?The "Futrograde" collection will be on display during New York Fashion Week. 


Visitors enter a three-portal, hyper-realistic digital lobby environment to start the adventure. Beginning on September 7th, the first two portals will make available unique, never-before-seen Nitro NFRNO and Nitro Fastroid shoes related to PUMA's recent NFT Nitropass mint.  

Those that created a Nitropass can get two NFTs: one that unlocks a unique experience related to their preferred sneaker and one that is linked to tangible goods. Miners can burn their NFT that they used to make a product claim after the Futrograde show to claim their actual footwear. This establishes the brand's first PUMA-owned NFT that connects digital design with actual, physical products for consumers, breaking new ground for the company in the web3 area. 

For the digital product design, PUMA pushed the creative limits of its in-house designers to imagine what a 3D digital sneaker may look like.

The sneakers' daring, innovative designs highlight PUMA features. Fastroid pushes the boundaries of a performance tech silhouette with enormous quantities of Nitro foam in high-impact gradient colors. NFRNO, which adopts the maxim "Sport is Art" as its guiding principle, resembles a futuristic combination of obscure archive styles and multi-part molded construction. 

The digital NYFW metaverse fashion show will be accessible through Black Station's third gateway. Visitors will be submerged in an abstracted, interactive environment that uses point cloud-style effects. They will travel through a virtual version of the exhibit where viewers can engage with the objects in the collection. 

Unreal Engine 5 was used to create the Black Station metaverse, which was created by creative ventures business FTR. At blackstation.puma.com, visitors can access the Black Station experience.
