Baidu launches the world first superconducting quantum computer

On August 25, Chinese Internet giant Baidu Inc. announced the launch of the world's first all-platform integration solution making its first superconducting quantum computer, which completely combines software, hardware, and applications.
As per the press release, the leading Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) firm’s all-platform quantum hardware-software integration solution enables users to get access to a variety of quantum chips via a personal computer, a mobile app, or the cloud.
At a conference for quantum developers, Quantum Create 2022 in Beijing, this new product has been presented and prepared its path for the long-awaited industrialization of quantum computing.
It can be expected that quantum computing will achieve noteworthy changes in fields like AI, computational biology, financial technology, and material simulation. ‘Qian Shi’ uses a high-fidelity 10 quantum bits (qubits) of power to make available to the general public a quantum computing service that is both reliable and significant.
As the field of quantum computing progresses, a growing number of componential contributions might make to their existing operations in reality.
The field of quantum registering is taking extraordinary steps. Thus a developing number of componential commitments that quantum figuring might make to their current tasks in reality.
Subsequently, the world’s first all-platform quantum hardware-software integration solution, the ‘Liang Xi’ solution has been developed.
Dr RunyaoDuan, Director of the Institute for Quantum Computing at Baidu Research, stated, “With Qian Shi and Liang Xi, users can create quantum algorithms and use quantum computing power without developing their quantum hardware, control systems, or programming languages.”
He also added, “Baidu’s innovations make it possible to access quantum computing anytime and anywhere, even via smartphone. Baidu’s platform is also instantly compatible with a wide range of quantum chips, meaning ‘plug-and-play’ access is now a reality.”
