VeChain and UFC announce their marketing partnership

UFC, the world's largest mixed martial arts
organization, has signed a long-term marketing partnership with VeChain, one of
the global blockchain foundations focused on sustainability, providing a public
network based on Ethereum. VeChain joins Crypto.com, Socios, and Dapper Labs as
blockchain companies working with the UFC.
UFC estimates VeChain's brand will reach 900
million television households in 175 countries as part of the deal, making the
partnership "one of the deepest integrations of any sponsor in UFC
history."
As the first Layer 1 Blockchain Partner of the UFC,
VeChain will enable unprecedented integration of the foundation into UFC
assets, including broadcast and in-arena programming, as well as original
content produced and distributed through the UFC's popular digital and social
channels.
As per the agreements, VeChain's logo will be
displayed at UFC events, on fighter apparel, and on digital and social platforms.
With offices in Luxembourg, Japan, China,
Singapore, France, Italy, Ireland, San Marino, and the United States, VeChain
specializes in the development of real-world blockchain applications. The
VeChain Foundation spent less than $660,000 on marketing in Q1 according to its
financial report released in May, but it amassed a $1.2 billion war chest.
According to sources, the partnership is estimated
to be worth almost $100 million over a five-year minimum. Streaming revenues at
the UFC are up 30% from a record-breaking 2021 as a result of the sponsorship
deal, says UFC senior vice president of global partnerships, Paul Asencio.
This Saturday, in the Singapore Indoor Stadium, UFC
275 will feature Teixeira vs Prochazka, with the VeChain's debut in mixed
martial arts.
