SquirrelVerse launches a platform for NFT commerce

A company called SquirrelVerse, which is a Metaverse platform, has launched Meta screen, a platform where people can use NFTs as movie tickets. The first Indian film to use NFTs as tickets will be Mithila Makhaan, a national award-winning film.
SquirrelVerse's mission is to bring NFTs to life
with real-life utility and purposes while assisting Metaverse creators and
brands to be more easily integrated into the system and accessible to a broader
audience.
“With the introduction of Meta screen, creators can
leverage NFT technology in a purposeful way for showcasing and monetizing their
content and prepare to make their mark in the Metaverse," said the Founder
& CEO of SquirrelVerse, Pradeep Singh.
He adds, "We aim to bridge the knowledge
barrier for Web 3 and Metaverse, and want to make this new technology
accessible and easy for everyone. We want to stand out as a platform of choice
for creators and brands to kickstart their Metaverse journey."
What is Metascreen ?
On Meta screen, users can watch movies using NFTs, while creators can showcase their works, own them and earn through trading royalties. An NFT comes equipped with a utility that lets creators access their content directly from the platform. With full ownership rights, creators can publish fiction, poetry, and other forms of artistic expression online. Using Metascreen, the process of creating or consuming content is redefined since there is no third party to stand between the creator and the consumer. Mithila Makhaan, the first maithili film to get on NFT this year, won the Best Maithili Film Award at the 63rd National Film Awards.
