A film about Ethereum is being made by Ridley Scott, the director of "Alien"

According to Hollywood entertainment news site
Deadline, Scott Free Productions will adapt cryptocurrency journalist Camila
Russo's bestselling book, The Infinite Machine, into a film.
Camila Russo, the founder of The Defiant and
creator of "The Infinite Machine" book about the creation of the
Ethereum network, is being adapted for the screen by Scott Free Productions,
the production company behind "House of Gucci" and "Blade Runner
2049."
The film is expected to be written and directed by
Shyam Madiraju, while Ridley Scott will produce, along with collaborators Tom
Moran and Vera Meyer from Scott Free.
"It's incredibly exciting to have Ridley Scott
and the crew at Scott Free produce the movie of The Infinite Machine alongside
us," said Russo.
He added, “I can’t imagine a better team to turn
the riveting story about the people behind the most revolutionary technology
since the internet into a feature film that will capture the hearts of our
generation.”
In this book, Russo documents the rise of Ethereum,
which is the second-largest digital asset in the world, and the development of
cryptocurrencies.
It all began with Vitalik Buterin, a remarkable
19-year-old autodidact who saw the promise of blockchain when it was still in
its infancy. In his quest to build a global supercomputer, he found a team of
talented coders who joined him.
Ridley Scott's The Last Duel, featuring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Jodie Comer, and House of Gucci starring Lady Gaga, Al Pacino, and Adam Driver are recent films from Scott Free.
