Dapper Labs Announces NFL Top Shot's Football Version

The Dapper Labs will launch an NFT marketplace NFL All Day, which will have the video highlights sold as NFTs, much like NBA Top Shot.
Dapper Labs have struck a deal with the National Football League and the NFL Players Association to translate its NBA Top Shot formula to pro football. It has planned to launch a platform branded NFL All Day during the current NFL.
Similar to Top Shot, NFL All Day will use the Dapper Labs Flow blockchain, with Moments being shown and traded on the All Day platform.
Despite not being ready to launch yet, NFL All Day's website has been updated to indicate visitors can experience a "future of fandom" through digital video collectibles.
Given the initial popularity of Top Shot, it is likely that hundreds of millions of NFL fans will be interested in it. However, it is not clear what exactly what these collectibles will be used for, given how popular it has been thus far.
In addition, to offer NFL All Day, the Dapper is building NFT platforms for the Spanish soccer league LaLiga and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The new digital marketplace was announced by Dapper Labs a day after Fischer's report, and collectors can now join the waitlist to participate.
As per the Fischer reports that the deal will make the Dapper Labs “the union’s second-largest source of digital licensing revenue behind ‘Madden’ maker EA Sports.”
As the growth of the sports card industry and the early success of NBA Top Shot indicate, this partnership could bring massive benefits to the NFL, NFLPA, and Dapper Labs.
